Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with Southwest LAN Connections, LLC, to provide wireless radio system on-site maintenance and service for the Water Services Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $1,500,000.

Summary
This contract will provide maintenance, repair, installation, and upgrade services for the Water Services Department's wireless radio communication system. Wireless radios provide communication connectivity for the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system for monitoring and controlling the process of water distribution across more than 300 remote water and wastewater sites. These services include but are not limited to, on site diagnostics, system restoration, installation and replacement of licensed and license exempt wireless radios and components compatible with existing infrastructure.
The contractor will supply certified technicians, detailed service documentation, and support for multiple wireless platforms - including Radwin, Newave, Cambium, Exalt, Redline, and 4RF - to ensure reliable communications and continuity as systems are modernized. This work is necessary to maintain stable operations, minimize downtime, and ensure dependable communication for critical water facilities.
This item has been reviewed and approved by the Information Technology Services Department.

An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.
One vendor submitted a bid deemed to be responsive to posted specifications and responsible to provide the required goods and services. Following an evaluation based on price, the procurement officer recommends award to the following vendor:
