Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute an amendment to Agreement 156634 with Sterling Computers Corporation to provide additional funding to the agreement. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures included in this amendment will not exceed $200,000.

Summary
The purpose of this amendment is to provide additional funding for protocol gateways, peripherals, and related equipment that support the Water Services Department's process control systems used to monitor and automate water and wastewater treatment operations. This funding will ensure the continued availability for hardware, replacement parts, and upgrades necessary to maintain reliable operations, regulatory compliance, and system efficiency.
This item has been reviewed approved by the Information Technology Services Department.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged ending on June 30, 2027.
Financial Impact
The initial authorization for the protocol gateways and peripherals was for an expenditure not to exceed $460,000. This amendment will increase the authorization of the agreement by an additional $200,000, for a new total not to exceed value of $660,000.
Funds are available in the Water Services Department's Operating budget.
