Summary
SRP is working toward a sustainable future for the benefit of its customers and the communities they serve. In October, 2017, SRP adopted its initial list of comprehensive 2035 sustainability goals. This year, SRP has undertaken an extensive stakeholder process in order to update the goals, which will be presented to its Strategic Planning Committee on May 9, 2019 and to its full Board of Directors on June 3, 2019. SRP's success in achieving these goals contributes to the City's success in achieving its own sustainability goals, most notably in terms of water stewardship, forest health, waste reduction, tree planting and carbon mitigation. City staff and numerous regional stakeholders participated in this update process. A complete copy of SRP's 2035 Sustainability Goals Recommendations report is attached, Attachment A.
