Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with TGO Technologies, Inc., to provide replacement ChlorTainer parts and equipment to the Water Services Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total contract value will not exceed $200,000.

Summary
The contract with TGO Technologies, Inc. will provide replacement parts and equipment for existing ChlorTainer systems, which are used by the Water Services Department to safely store water treatment chemicals during the event of a power loss. The inability to maintain the ChlorTainer systems with replacement parts may result in equipment failure, and may impede the ability to meet the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
Procurement Information
Due to the proprietary nature of the products being requested, only TGO Technologies, Inc. can provide parts and equipment for the ChlorTainer systems. In accordance with Administrative Regulation 3.10, an exception to the procurement process was used in the form of a Sole Source Determination.
Contract Term
The contract term is for five years, effective on or about Sept. 16, 2019 through Sept. 15, 2024.
Financial Impact
Expenditures are not to exceed $200,000 over the life of the contract. Funds are available in the Water Services Department's Operating budget.
