Report

Summary

The existing compressor at the Val Vista Water Treatment Plant has suffered mechanical failure and is not cost effective to repair. Sullair manufactures its own air compressors that are specifically designed to accommodate the high pressure and volumetric compressed air requirements, common to the equipment demands of water treatment facilities. A failure to procure a new Sullair Model 1809E Rotary Screw Air Compressor would result in the plant's inability to properly unload bulk chemical tanker trailer deliveries and operate pneumatic equipment, thus causing diminishment of plant production capacity.
