Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute an amendment to Contract 158075 with Trane U.S., Inc., to modify the scope of work to provide services at Water Services Department facilities and allow additional expenditures. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $247,000.

Summary
The purpose of the amendment is to provide the Water Services Department (WSD) the opportunity to utilize the Trane Energy Management Control Systems Services contract to provide programming, maintenance, and repair of Trane Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS) for existing systems on an as-needed basis. The agreement will allow necessary maintenance and repairs on these systems, which is necessary for proper operation, temperature control, and regulation of energy consumption in the facilities. The agreement will include all labor, materials, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to provide this service.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged, ending on April 30, 2028.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $247,000 in additional expenditures, the revised aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $2,327,000.
Funds are available in the Water Services Department's budget.
Concurrence/Previous Council Action
The City Council approved Trane Energy Management Control Systems Services Agreement 158075 (Ordinance S-49551) on April 5, 2023.
