Description

Request to authorize the City Manager or his designee to execute an amendment to contract 165080 with Clearwater Enterprises Inc. dba Quality Equipment & Spray for an entity change to PEAK Acquisitions LLC dba Quality Equipment & Spray. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. No additional funds are needed; request to continue using Ordinance S-52692.

Summary

This contract provides a broad range of replacement equipment, repair parts and accessories to ensure City-owned equipment is maintained, as necessary, to ensure proper operation. The contract may be used by departments Citywide. Such equipment is needed to maintain properties, such as parks, athletic fields and golf courses, in addition to uses for vegetation control for safety and access, roadside and public area maintenance, storm water and drainage management, airport grounds wildlife hazard reduction and vacant lot and blight reduction.

 

Contract Term

The contract term remains unchanged, ending on March 31, 2031.

 

Financial Impact

The total combined value of the contracts authorized by Ordinance S-52692 will not exceed $2,000,000, and no additional funds are needed.

The City Council previously reviewed this request:

• Various Landscape, Agricultural, and Field Maintenance Equipment, Parts, and Accessories Contract 165080 (Ordinance S-52692) on March 25, 2026.
