Lifeguard Uniforms Contract - PKS-IFB-26-0193 Request for Award (Ordinance S-52755) - Citywide

 

Description

Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with Original Watermen to provide lifeguard uniforms for the Parks and Recreation Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $500,000.

Summary

Lifeguard uniforms are utilized by Parks and Recreation Department staff in aquatics programs. The department hires approximately 650 employees during the summer months, and these uniforms are needed for staff at the public pools throughout the City.

 

Procurement Information

An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.

 

Three vendors submitted bids deemed to be responsive to posted specifications and responsible to provide the required goods and services. Following an evaluation based on price, the procurement officer recommends an award to the following vendor:

Contract Term

The contract will begin on or about April 1, 2026, for a five-year term with no options to extend.

 

Financial Impact
