I have the capability, reliability and qualifications to hold a liquor license because:

“I currenlty own and operate two other successful restarurants within the City of Phoenix including St. Francis restaurant (111 E. Camelback Road), which has been in operation 2009, and Phoenix Public Market Cafe (14 E. Pierce Street), which has been in operation since 2012. Both restaurants also hold liquor licenses in the City of Phoenix.”

 

The public convenience requires and the best interest of the community will be substantially served by the issuance of the liquor license because:

“Taco Chelo will be designated and created to serve the particular function of being a community gathering space and to afford the particular convenience of serving quality food and beverage to the commuity. The restaurant will also showcase artworks from artists within the community, including internationally-recognized artist Gennaro Garcia.”

 

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of this application noting the applicant must resolve any pending City of Phoenix building and zoning requirements, and be in compliance with the City of Phoenix Code and Ordinances.
