Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to allow additional expenditures under Contract 160774 with Paleowest, LLC dba Headway Environmental, Contract 160781 with SWCA Incorporated, and Contract 161132 with Pinyon Environmental, Inc. to provide on-call environmental assessment and review services for the Neighborhood Services and Housing departments. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. There is no impact to the General Fund. The additional expenditures will not exceed $950,000.

Summary
This contract provides environmental review services mandated under a variety of environmental statutes, executive orders and regulations under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) National Environmental Policy Act review guidelines. Duties include completing environmental assessments and/or site-specific reviews of City-administered, HUD-funded projects to determine their impact on the environment and to document compliance with applicable authorities.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged, ending on April 30, 2027, with two one-year options to extend through April 30, 2029.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $950,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contracts will not exceed $1,950,000. The Neighborhood Services and Housing departments utilize federal funds for these contracts, therefore there is no impact to the General Fund.
