Description

This report requests City Council approval of an ordinance establishing the form of the ballot for the City of Phoenix Special Election to be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2018.

Summary

This Ordinance (Attachment A) establishes the language that will be printed on the ballot for a proposed Charter Amendment referred to voters by the City Council relating to election funding disclosure, sometimes referred to as "dark money." The form of the ballot for this election is consistent with the requirements for the State General Election ballot, as Maricopa County will be conducting the election.
