Summary
The attached report (Attachment A) provides an overview of Phoenix sworn staffing levels, number of calls for service, and response times during the last ten years, from fiscal year 2011-12 through 2020-21. In addition, the report compares Phoenix's sworn Police and Fire staffing levels to local and national cities, which indicates Phoenix authorized sworn staffing levels are in line with other agencies, however in some cases below the median of surveyed cities.
