Description
For $450,000.00 in additional payment authority for Contract 142036 for Construction Manager at Risk Guaranteed Maximum Price preparation services for the Water Services Department’s (WSD) Deer Valley Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Rehabilitation 2015 project. This rehabilitation project is needed because various mechanical and electrical systems and structural assets at the WTP are deteriorating and corroding due to age and usage. Funds will address additional costs for: supplementary plant shutdowns in April-June 2018 and January-February 2019; supplying temporary power during replacement of power feeders; and decontaminating chemical facilities. This project uses WSD Capital Improvement Program funds.
