Report

Summary

The Parks and Recreation Department was notified after contract award and prior to contract execution that the awarded vendor had an entity change. The purpose of this amendment is to consent to the assignment of the contract with Luna Brinca Rentals LLC to Top Event Rentals LLC. Top Event Rentals LLC has acquired Luna Brinca Rentals LLC. This amendment would allow for the contract and contract duties to move forward unhindered.

This contract will provide Parks and Recreation Event-Related Services for events scheduled throughout the city. These services support seasonal public events across multiple City parks and facilities, which include, but are not limited to, the rental of rides, games, bounce houses, face painting, staging, live entertainment, and other various related services. These events are designed to provide safe, family-friendly recreation opportunities that promote community engagement and cultural enrichment for residents of all ages. This contract is critical to the City as it ensures the safe, efficient, and professional execution of events that enhance community engagement, cultural programming, and public enjoyment.

Contract Term

The contract term remains unchanged, ending on March 31, 2031.

Financial Impact

The aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $925,000, and no additional funds are needed.
