Applicant’s Statement
The applicant submitted the following statement in support of this application. Spelling, grammar and punctuation in the statement are shown exactly as written by the applicant on the City Questionnaire.
I have the capability, reliability and qualifications to hold a liquor license because:
“The owner celebrated her 40th Anniversary operating Streets of New York in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The ownership will remain the same, however this application will be replacing the beer & wine bar with a restaurant liquor license. All restaurants gross revenue in food sales is 90% or greater. The business concept created is a safe, family oriented establishment and the owner requires employees to be re-certified in liquor law training on a regular basis to ensure compliance with city and state laws.”
The public convenience requires and the best interest of the community will be substantially served by the issuance of the liquor license because:
“This is establishment has been serving the need and convenience of the community for many years. The alcohol service is merely to complement the service of food as depicted in high percentage of food sales versus alcohol sales.”
