Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to add additional funds for the State of Arizona Cooperative Contract ADSPO16-145336 with On-Advertising. Further request authorization for the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. With the additional funds of $345,000, the revised aggregate value will be $785,000.

Summary
The contract with On-Advertising will continue to provide the Police Department with advertising such as billboards and digital advertising, which includes ads and social media ads that are strategically and demographically targeted. The success of the Police Department's Recruiting Plan relies heavily on a marketing plan that delivers consistent and comprehensive advertising to prospective Police recruit applicants locally and nationally. Advertising is critically important to the overall mission and success of the Police Department's Recruiting Strategy in order to fill the 294 vacancies.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of the additional expenditures of $345,000, the revised aggregate value will be $785,000 through the contract term of Aug. 31, 2021. The expenditures will not exceed $115,000 annually. Funds are available in the Police Department's budget.
