Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, to execute an amendment to Contract 162127 with ABM Industry Groups, LLC to modify service locations by adding Public Transit Department facilities and to authorize additional expenditures under the contract to support custodial services at the new locations. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $875,000.

Summary
This contract provides custodial services for various City of Phoenix facilities managed by the Public Works Department. An amendment to the contract is necessary to add Public Transit Department facilities, including the office building located at 302 N. 1st Avenue, to the list of serviced locations.
The additional locations will require daily custodial services consistent with the existing contract scope of work, including cleaning and maintenance of restrooms, public areas, conference rooms, offices, floors and other designated spaces. The requested additional expenditures will support these expanded services for the remaining term of the contract.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged and will end on December 31, 2027, with two one-year extension options remaining.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of an additional $875,000, the revised aggregate contract value will not exceed $17,165,000.
Funds are available in the Public Transit Department budget.
Concurrence/ Previous Council Action
City Council previously approved Contract 162127 through Ordinance S-51427 on November 20, 2024.
