Description

Request authorization for the City Manager, or his designee, to amend License 130664 between the City of Phoenix and New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, to extend the license term for a five-year period, with one additional five-year option. Further request authorization for the City Treasurer to accept funds related to this item.

Summary

AT&T currently licenses approximately 800 square feet of ground space, located at the City Clerk Department Customer Service Center at 2214 W. Lower Buckeye Road, for wireless communications equipment. New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC has been a licensee at this location since March 2011 and is in good standing. The current license term expires March 23, 2021. The license fee will increase by three percent at the beginning of the extended term to $1,209.52 per month, plus applicable taxes. The license fee will be increased three percent annually during the extended term and option period. 

 

Contract Term

Five years with one, five-year option to extend.

 

Financial Impact

Annual revenue will be $14,514.24, plus applicable taxes, during the first year.
