I have the capability, reliability, and qualifications to hold a liquor license because:

“I'm 40 yrs old with years of experience handling liquor. I follow the rules and regulations of the city and county to handle the liquor properly. I have an accounting team that will be doing the reports and payments automatically.”

 

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends disapproval of this application based on the Finance Department and Police Department recommendations for disapproval. The Police Department disapproval is based on the applicant's criminal history and the applicant's failure to disclose the criminal history on the application. The applicant has not demonstrated the capability, qualifications, and reliability to hold and control a liquor license. Staff also notes that the applicant must resolve any pending City of Phoenix building and zoning requirements and be in compliance with the City of Phoenix Code and Ordinances.
