I have the capability, reliability and qualifications to hold a liquor license because:

“Rubio's holds numerous liquor licenses throughout Arizona, including five in Phoenix. Rubio's has an excellent compliance track record with respect to the service of alcoholic beverages, and it has a number of security and training policies and procedures in place to ensure that alcoholic beverages are sold in a safe and responsible manner going forward.”

 

The public convenience requires and the best interest of the community will be substantially served by the issuance of the liquor license because:

“The general public expects that a restaurant of this nature will serve alcoholic beverages, and it is critical to the success of the restaurant's business model in order to do so.”

 

Staff Recommendation

Staff recommends approval of this application noting the applicant must resolve any pending City of Phoenix building and zoning requirements, and be in compliance with the City of Phoenix Code and Ordinances.
