Report

Summary

The Phoenix Police Reserve Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that provides equipment to the Reserve Division that is not funded through the regular City budget. In recent years, the Foundation has donated vehicles used exclusively by reserve officers supporting various departmental operations. Reserve officers contributed more than 52,000 hours of sworn volunteer service in Fiscal Year 2025-26, highlighting their ongoing operational impact.

The donated truck will enhance the Division’s operational effectiveness, improve mobility during special events, and strengthen leadership support for reserve personnel.

Financial Impact

The truck will come with a new vehicle warranty. Costs to the City will include standard operating and maintenance expenses. Funds for these expenditures are available in the Police Department's budget.
