Description
For $74,500.00 in payment authority for a new contract, entered on or about Sept. 1, 2019, for a term of five years, to purchase ropes, prusik cord, carabiners, webbing, harnesses, and other miscellaneous high angle gear for the Police Department's Tactical Support Bureau and Special Assignments Unit. The Special Assignments Unit carries out many job functions, including high angle incidents involving trapped criminals or suicidal subjects located on an elevated platform. The equipment will provide officers with the proper gear and equipment to maximize the safety of the subjects, citizens and the officers involved.
