Report

Summary

Police service dog Deichmann is eight years old, and has been assigned to the Tactical Support Bureau since 2018, where he has been assigned to Officer Mead. Canine Deichmann has met the Bureau's standard of five years of service and, due to his age and bond with his handler, it is requested that he be allowed to retire.

This request is for the authorization of the sale of Police service canine Deichmann for $1.00. The purchase of canine Deichmann is being made by Officer Mead, who will retire from the Department December 2025, and agrees to accept full responsibility and liability for canine Deichmann, and to care for him for the remainder of his life.
