Report

Summary

Zencity provides a web-based platform to analyze data obtained from relevant sources that include topics related to the City. It also has the capability to produce reports and surveys that will provide information on how the community views and engages with the City. Zencity offers a variety of surveying tools including Pulse Surveys, which are available for communities of more than 50,000 residents to gather input from a large, representative sample of residents. Distribution is handled entirely by Zencity, with a representative sample guarantee, and includes analysis reports to assist in gauging public sentiment on City services.

The Water Services Department leverages Zencity to measure resident awareness, concern and sentiment related to water quality, long term water supply, conservation behavior and major initiatives such as the Advanced Water Purification program.

The Public Works Department uses Zencity to understand how residents feel about current solid waste services and to find ways to keep improving them so they meet community needs and support City goals.

Both Departments will conduct Pulse Surveys specific to their services and programs with the additional funds.

This has been reviewed and approved by the Information Technology Services Department.

Contract Term

The contract term remains unchanged, ending on August 31, 2027.

Financial Impact

Upon approval of $200,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $2,834,880. Funds are available in the Water Services and Public Works department budgets.
