Report
Summary
The City's current smart meter vendor IPS Group, Inc. has offered up to 20 of its smart meter units at no cost to the City as part of the company's charitable outreach. This agreement would allow IPS Group, Inc. to provide these no-fee smart meters for the City's Parking Meter Giving Pilot Program and set up a unique account for the deposit of donations received by these meters. These smart meters would allow for credit card donations to benefit the City's PHX C.A.R.E.S. program. The agreement will state that these no-fee smart meters will be maintained by the City and returned to the IPS Group, Inc. at the conclusion of the Parking Meter Giving Pilot Program.
