Description
For $437,520 in additional payment authority for Agreement 161524, Change Order 5 (AH10010002-5) for US Vets Miscellaneous Repairs and Improvements Design-Bid-Build project for the Housing Department. This change order funds construction of Phase II, which includes several safety and accessibility enhancements at the property, including fence panels, parking lot overlay, an eight-foot-high block wall, and exterior handrails at the detention basin. It also covers items required by City and County inspectors, including the installation of main waterline backflow preventers, modifications to the public restroom to meet Americans with Disability Act standards, and additional ducting in the commercial kitchen. This project is funded by Federal funds, State funds, and other Housing Department funding sources.
