For $28,000.00 in payment authority to purchase medical restraint chairs for the Police Department (PD) to replace chairs that are no longer operable. The medical restraint chairs are vital to the Police Department's phlebotomists efforts to perform blood draws, while keeping the detainees and officers safe. The medical restraint chairs are made to restrain detainees while providing maximum comfort and have memory foam headrests to reduce chances of head injuries. In addition, it gives the Police Department phlebotomists the ability to do blood draws for investigations requiring a blood sample from the detainees. The chairs will be purchased from a grant PD received from the Governor's Office of Highway Safety (GOHS).
