Applicant’s Statement

The applicant submitted the following statement in support of this application. Spelling, grammar and punctuation in the statement are shown exactly as written by the applicant on the City Questionnaire.

I have the capability, reliability and qualifications to hold a liquor license because:

“The owner of Tukee Tap & Bottle runs two other successful businesses. He has always had a dream to open a beer and wine bar. He has worked in the restaurant business in the past and has hired a experienced bar manager. All his employees will be required to attend liquor law training classes to ensure compliance with liquor laws.”

The public convenience requires and the best interest of the community will be substantially served by the issuance of the liquor license because:

“The neighborhood doesn't have a beer & wine bar like this one. We will be offering 28 craft beers on tap and several varieties of beer & wine for purchase. We will also offer several varieties of food from local food trucks. We have received a warm welcome from our neighbors and we look forward to being the favorite neighborhood beer & wine bar.”

Staff Recommendation
