This item is for discussion and consideration of reappointment of four Phoenix Municipal Court Judges, for four-year terms.

Summary

The Judicial Selection Advisory Board convened on Oct. 19, 2023, and recommended the following reappointments of Phoenix Municipal Court Judges:

 

  • Judge Francisca Cota as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on Dec. 20, 2027.
  • Judge Cynthia Gonzales as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on Dec. 20, 2027.
  • Judge James Hernandez as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on Dec. 20, 2027.
  • Judge Walter Jackson as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on Nov. 23, 2027.
