Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with UTP Productions, Inc. to provide stagehand services for the Phoenix Convention Center Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $750,000.

Summary
This contract will provide the Phoenix Convention Center Department with skilled stagehand and technical personnel to support the technical infrastructure needed for conventions, concerts, theatrical productions, trade shows and civic gatherings. These services are necessary to ensure the venues operate smoothly, remain event-ready year-round and continue to meet professional production standards.
Stagehand and technical personnel perform critical functions such as installing, operating and maintaining equipment; assisting with troubleshooting; and supporting ongoing maintenance and equipment upgrades. Their expertise ensures that events are executed safely and effectively while protecting the City’s technical assets.
The contract also specifies that all stagehands meet required qualifications and are deployed in accordance with labor regulations and union agreements.
Procurement Information
An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.
Three vendors submitted bids deemed to be responsive to posted specifications and responsible to provide the required goods and services. Following an evaluation based on price, the procurement officer recommends award to the following vendor:

Financial Impact
