Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or designee, to grant temporary construction easements (TCEs) to the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) for the South Mountain Freeway project. Further request authorization to grant a right of entry, if required, in support of project construction.

Summary
The City-owned property, controlled by the Public Transit Department, is approximately 17 acres and is improved with the 40th Street and Pecos Park-and-Ride. ADOT has requested approximately 13,593 square feet of TCEs in various locations along south 40th Street and along the southern property line of the Park-and-Ride. It is anticipated that there will be no impacts to the improvements or adverse impacts to the remaining site. ADOT will be responsible for any and all compensation in the event that impacts occur. Compensation for the TCEs and impacts, if any, will be based on market value.
