Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, to enter into a contract with Sierra Signs & Service, Inc. to provide sign fabrication and installation for citywide use. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $1,067,000.

Summary
This contract will provide the Parks and Recreation Department with the resources to provide signage throughout numerous City of Phoenix parks. The signage will include maps, educational signs, and/or directional signs, which are essential to provide effective information to guests visiting City parks and facilities. Signage is necessary to maintain the safe, informative, and welcoming operation of City parks and facilities. Additional City departments are requesting to utilize this cooperative agreement to develop signage on City-owned property. Such signage can assist with educating the public on significant properties and themes/events from Phoenix's history. This cooperative agreement will be for citywide use.
Procurement Information
In accordance with Administrative Regulation 3.10, standard competition was waived as a result of an approved Determination Memo based on the following reason: Special Circumstances Alternative Competition. The City of Mesa's Master Agreement covers the purchase of fabricating and installing signs as required by the Parks and Recreation Department and other City departments. Utilization of this contract would leverage government pricing.
Contract Term
The contract will begin on or about October 1, 2026, for a four-year term with a one-year option to extend.
Financial Impact
The aggregate contract value will not exceed $1,067,000 for the five-year aggregate term.
Funding is available in the various City departments’ budgets.
