Summary
The Judicial Selection Advisory Board convened on May 13, 2026, and recommended the following reappointments of Phoenix Municipal Court Judges:
- Judge Laura E. Lowery as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on September 30, 2030.
- Judge Tina Solomon as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for a four-year term that would end on June 29, 2030.
On June 3, 2026, the Public Safety and Justice Subcommittee also recommended reappointments of Judge Laura E. Lowery as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for another four-year term and Judge Tina Solomon as a Judge of the Phoenix Municipal Court for another four-year term.
If approved by the full City Council, Judge Laura E. Lowery and Judge Tina Solomon will be sworn in during the Formal City Council Meeting on July 1, 2026.
