Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or the City Manager's designee, to enter into a contract with Xylem Water Solutions U.S.A., Inc. to provide membrane diffusers for the Water Services Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $700,000.

Summary
This contract will provide membrane diffusers for the 23rd Avenue and 91st Avenue Wastewater Treatment Plants, and such diffusers are used in the aeration basins' flexible air membrane diffusers' holders. The membrane diffusers provide dissolved oxygen to the aeration basin, an important parameter as micro-organisms require oxygen for respiration and for oxidation of the organic matter.

An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.
