Description

Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute amendments to Contract 163311 with Partitions and Accessories Co. and Contract 163352 with Bio-Janitorial Service, Inc. to add the Aviation Department as an authorized user under the contracts. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $350,000.

Summary

These contracts provide the supply, installation and repair of restroom partitions at City facilities. The contractors furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to provide durable restroom partition systems that comply with applicable building codes and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Services include the installation and repair of restroom doors, panels, pilasters, hardware and associated mounting components.

 

The requested amendments will add the Aviation Department as an authorized user under the contracts, allowing the department to procure these services for its facilities.

 

Contract Term

The contract term remains unchanged and will expire on June 30, 2028, with two one-year options to further extend the contract term.

 

Financial Impact

Upon approval of an additional $350,000, the revised aggregate contract value will not exceed $1,350,000. Funds are available in the Aviation Department’s budget.

 

Concurrence/Previous Council Action

The City Council previously approved:

Supply, Install and Repair Services of Restroom Partitions - IFB 25-FMD-034 (Ordinance S-51980) on June 4, 2025.
