Summary
This portion of the Phoenix City Code pertains to pedestrians and their ability to cross or stop in a roadway. This request is to revise paragraph C and to remove the requirement for a pedestrian to be given a warning prior to being issued a citation for a civil violation. A pedestrian who stops in the median must cross the roadway at the next pedestrian signal, or in the absence of a pedestrian signal, when traffic has cleared or yielded. See Attachment A.
