For $16,290.00 in payment authority to purchase yellow and red parking meter covers for the Street Transportation Department. This is a one-time purchase for meter hoods that are used and reused throughout the City whenever a parking meter is required to be out-of-service for a special event, construction project, or development project. Meter hoods keep citizens and contractors from parking in spaces that are needed to keep a portion of the street clear from vehicle obstruction. The purchase will replace meter covers that are currently faded, tattered, or experiencing severe wear and tear from reuse.
