Description

Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into contracts with Re-Act Mechanical, LLC and Pueblo Mechanical And Controls, LLC to provide chiller and boiler maintenance and repair services for the Housing Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The aggregate contract value will not exceed $1.5 million.

Summary

These contracts will provide full service chiller and boiler maintenance for City-owned housing properties across Phoenix. The contractors will perform annual inspections, preventive maintenance and necessary repairs to ensure all systems operate safely, reliably and at peak energy efficiency in accordance with manufacturer requirements. These services support the long term performance of essential building equipment and help maintain safe and comfortable living environments for residents.

 

Procurement Information

An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.

 

Three vendors submitted bids deemed to be responsive to posted specifications and responsible to provide the required goods and services. Following an evaluation based on price, the procurement officer recommends award to the following vendors:

Contract Term

The contracts will begin on or about November 1, 2026, for a five-year term with no options to extend.

 

Financial Impact

The aggregate contract value will not exceed $1.5 million. The contracts are funded by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. There is no impact to the General Fund.
