Calcium Hypochlorite Contract (Ordinance S-46681)

 

Description

Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into an agreement with SCP Distributors dba Lincoln Aquatics to provide Calcium Hypochlorite for the Water Services Department. Further request to authorize execution of amendments to the agreement as necessary within the Council-approved expenditure authority as provided below, and for the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the agreement will not exceed $32,000.

The Water Services Department uses calcium hypochlorite as part of its water treatment process for disinfection of water and is seeking a five-year contract to ensure the safety of its water distribution system reuse applications.

 

Procurement Information

The selection was made using an Request for Quotes procurement process in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.

Lincoln Aquatics: $32,000

 

Contract Term

The five-year contract shall begin on or about July 1, 2020, and expire on June 30, 2025.

 

Financial Impact

The total cost will not exceed $32,000. Funds are available in the Water Services Department's Operating budget.
