Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute an amendment to Agreement 156749 with BRYCON Corporation for a name change to HITT Contracting, Inc., to provide continued Citywide Job Order Contracting Services on an as-needed basis. Further request to authorize execution of amendments to the agreement as necessary within the Council-approved expenditure authority as provided below, and for the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item.

Summary
The City and BRYCON Corporation entered into Agreement 156749 on August 1, 2022, to provide Citywide General Construction Job Order Contracting Services for various departments in support of the City's Capital Improvement Program.
This amendment is necessary because on February 2, 2026, HITT Contracting, Inc. acquired 100% of the equity interests of BRYCON Corporation. The City was notified of the acquisition and name change via letter dated April 14, 2026. City staff and the firm request that Agreement 156749 be reassigned to HITT Contracting, Inc.
Contract Term
The term of the master agreement remains unchanged. Work scope identified and incorporated into the agreement prior to the end of the term may be agreed to by the parties, and work may extend past the termination of the agreement. No additional changes may be executed after the end of the term.
Financial Impact
The initial agreement for Citywide General Construction Job Order Contracting Services was approved for an amount not to exceed $15 million, including all subcontractor and reimbursable costs. An amendment was approved for an amount not to exceed $20 million, for a new total amount not to exceed $35 million, including all subcontractor and reimbursable costs.
