Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to acquire easements either by donation, purchase within the City's appraised value, purchase at a settlement amount arrived through mediation and determined by the City Manager or designee to be reasonable under the circumstances, or by the power of eminent domain, for the Basin 5 - Circle K Park Project. Further request authorization for the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item.

Acquisition of easements are required to alleviate drainage issues in the area. Highline Canal Park will be redeveloped to incorporate a detention basin, which will serve as the outfall for three future storm drain systems.
