Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute an amendment to Contract 148210 with CovertTrack Group, Inc. for an assignment to 3SI Security Systems, Inc. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. No additional funds are needed; request to continue using Ordinance S-49943.

Summary
Operational Need: The Phoenix Police Department relies on CovertTrack Global Positioning Units for discreet, real-time monitoring for suspects and/or high-value stolen assets.
This equipment reduces the risk of high-speed chases, maps long-term patterns of behavior without extended man-power hours, and securely logs movement for evidence purposes. This contract will provide Global Positioning System (GPS) Trackers and maintenance for the Police Department. This is an entity change only. Existing contract terms and timelines remain unchanged.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged, ending on June 30, 2028.
Financial Impact
The aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $658,000, and no additional funds are needed.
