Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to allow additional expenditures under Agreement 155162 with Proficient Pest Specialists LLC to provide treatment of sanitary sewer structures with insecticide paint to control roaches. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $500,000.

Summary
The purpose of this amendment is to request additional funds for labor, certifications, materials, equipment, insecticides, plastics, tarps, caution tape, barricades, and traffic control devices required to treat sanitary sewer manholes and cleanouts located within the City.
The contractor is expected to treat one-half of the manholes and one-half of the sewer cleanouts each year. Manholes are located throughout the City's more than 540 square mile service area.
Contract Term
The agreement term remains unchanged, ending September 30, 2026.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $500,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $2,500,000.
Funding is available in the Water Services Department's Operating budget.
