Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to allow additional expenditures under Contract 162305 with Franklin Striping Inc. for the purchase of various pavement marking installation, application and removal services for the Street Transportation Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $525,000.

Summary
This contract provides the Street Transportation Department's Signing and Striping Shop with pavement marking application, installation and removal services on an as-needed basis. This includes traffic paint, thermoplastic, preformed pavement markings, tape and raised pavement markings for use throughout the City of Phoenix. The additional funds are needed to support increased use of the contract due to the downtime of City equipment and increased demand for the services.
Contract Term
The contract term remains unchanged, ending on January 14, 2030.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $525,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contract will not exceed $775,000. Funds are available in the Street Transportation Department’s budget.
