Summary
This report provides an update on the recently completed DVT Land Use Plan. Since the existing plan's adoption in 2015, significant economic changes have occurred in and around DVT (such as the development of the TSMC manufacturing facility and relocation of flight schools) necessitating the updated land use planning. The planning effort focused heavily on regional economic indicators as the basis for forecasted future development demand at Deer Valley, and included significant stakeholder engagement.
To highlight the development opportunities at DVT, staff has prepared an executive summary which details the airport's key features, including its strategic location regionally, its existing tenants, and parcels available for development (see Attachment A).
