Report

Summary

The City is making improvements to Margaret T. Hance Park (Hance Park Revitalization Project) above the Interstate 10 (I-10) Deck Park Tunnel. In conjunction with this project, the City has been coordinating with ADOT to address needed joint repairs, ahead of the next phases of the revitalization project. To accomplish construction of the joint repairs, the City and ADOT desire to enter into an IGA in which the City will be responsible for administering construction of the waterproofing and joint repair work; and ADOT will be responsible for preparing and providing design documents, inspecting work, and paying for the waterproofing and joint repair, including the City's administrative costs.

The City will utilize Haydon Building Corp. to perform the waterproofing and joint repair work. Haydon Building Corp. is the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) under contract with the City to provide preconstruction services for the Hance Park Revitalization Project.

Contract Term

The IGA will remain in effect until completion of the waterproofing and joint repair work.
