Financial Impact
Pursuant to Phoenix City Code Art. 5, Sec. 31-64(e), the City acknowledges that the public benefits received, including the generation of additional revenue to the private tax rolls, the elimination of third-party general liability claims against the City, the reduction of maintenance expenses, the correction of undesirable traffic patterns, and the re-platting of the area with alternate roadways and new development, constitute sufficient and appropriate consideration in this matter.
A fee was also collected as part of this abandonment in the amount of $1,311.10.
