Description
Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to allow additional expenditures under Contract 157595 with Western Tree Co. and Contract 157596 with Dream with Colors, Inc. for the purchase of plants, cacti, succulents and trees for Citywide use. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The additional expenditures will not exceed $260,000.

These contracts provide plants, cacti, succulents and trees in various facilities, parks and landscapes across the City. Plants and trees improve the quality of life for Phoenix residents by improving air quality, storm water management, shade and aesthetics. The additional funds will support continued purchasing of these products for the remainder of the contract term.
Contract Term
The terms of the contracts remain unchanged, ending on December 31, 2027.
Financial Impact
Upon approval of $260,000 in additional funds, the revised aggregate value of the contracts will not exceed $960,000. Funds are available in various department budgets.
