Report

Summary

These contracts will provide real estate and appraisal services, including commercial real estate appraisals, residential real estate appraisals, real estate appraisal review services, real estate consulting services, and billboard/outdoor advertising appraisals. These services will be used on an as-needed basis by the Public Transit Department for real property acquisitions, such as land for bus and light rail projects and facilities. Contracts with these providers will include terms and conditions required by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) for projects receiving federal funding.

Procurement Information

In accordance with Administrative Regulation 3.10, standard competition was waived as a result of an approved Determination Memo based on the following reason: Special Circumstances Alternative Competition. The State of Arizona's Cooperative Purchasing Contract best aligns with the Public Transit Department's need for appraisal service contracts compliant with FTA requirements.

Contract Term

The contracts will begin on or about Jan. 24, 2024 and will continue through Jan. 28, 2028.

Financial Impact

The combined aggregate value for all five contracts will not exceed $1,250,000 for their contract term. Funding is available in the Public Transit Department's budget.
