Description

Request to authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to enter into a contract with T.W. Associates, LLC., dba MISCOwater, to allow for the purchase of Rotork Actuators and related parts for the Water Services Department. Further request to authorize the City Controller to disburse all funds related to this item. The total value of the contract will not exceed $2,350,000.

Summary

This contract will provide electric actuators and related components used throughout the Water Services Department's Production and Wastewater Treatment divisions to operate and control valves and associated equipment critical to water and wastewater treatment processes. Approval of this item will authorize the purchase of Rotork electric actuators, parts, valves, gearboxes, accessories, and related software on an as-needed basis to support the ongoing operation, maintenance, and reliability of City water and wastewater facilities.

 

Procurement Information

An Invitation for Bid procurement was processed in accordance with City of Phoenix Administrative Regulation 3.10.

 

Two vendors submitted bids deemed to be responsive to posted specifications and responsible to provide the required goods and services. Following an evaluation based on price, the procurement officer recommends award to the following vendor:

Contract Term

The contract will begin on or about March 1, 2026, for a five-year term with no options to extend.

 

Financial Impact

The aggregate contract value will not exceed $2,350,000.

 

Funding is available in the Water Services Department's Operating and Capital Improvement Program budgets.
